A mighty win for the mighty 4s!
Written jointly by Penny, Helen, Soph, Orla and Asuka.
Determined for those 3 points and to make it worth the drive, Wallingford mighty 4s arrived in Staines with a positive mindset. Harry met us there (thank you!!) And set up the warm up. With country music flowing we were raring to go.
5 mins in, Kerry popped the first goal in and we were off. Thereafter, the goals came in thick and fast from Helen (3), Kerry (3) and Jenny (2). Assisted ably by various members of the team.
Slight sticky moment as Poppy's helmet came off and also her glasses broke. A quick mend of the glasses and she did amazingly well without them!
We were rewarded with a very satisfying score of 8-2 and a chicken curry for teas.
