Our Wildcats need you!

Do you have a burning enthusiasm for the sport and wish to help the club develop our young stars? Well, we may just have the right opportunity for you.

Our Wildcats section has experienced wonderful growth and development over the past couple of years. David and Freddy Shannon, with the help of a fantastic team of volunteers, have helped drive success throughout our age groups. But changes are afoot and that is why we are seeking new blood. With David stepping back, the need for more coaches has never been more crucial in order to accommodate the existing number of young people who want to enjoy the Wildcat experience in the 2018-19 season. All you need at the moment is enthusiasm, with the club able to assist with any training and education required to bring you into the fold. If this sounds like the ideal opportunity for you, please email Wildcats Secretary, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

England Hockey player survey

England Hockey’s latest player survey is now available for completion.

It provides you with a great chance to communicate how we can keep improving and moving forward as a club. There’s a fantastic incentive too, with players who take part in the survey entered into a draw to win two free tickets for this summer’s Vitality World Cup. The survey takes about five minutes to complete and, with a chance to watch England take on the USA on Wednesday, July 25, up for grabs, it is definitely worthwhile. All feedback is anonymous and to complete the survey, visit: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/3059088/EHPlayer2018

Golf Day - 23rd June 2018

Our Mens 2s are MBBO Div 3 Champions

The final weekend of scheduled MBBO Div 3 matches culminated in two tough back-to-back away matches for our Mens 2nd team. The incentive - league glory. Saturday's encounter was a late fixture at Sonning 3s, who were fighting for survival at the bottom section of the league table. Our 2s secured promotion with a 4-1 victory (goals from Ben White, Angus Brettell, Marc Leaney and Ross Mitchell). But the team wanted more than that - they wanted to finish as champions, and to do that, they needed to go out and repeat the victory on Sunday away to Leighton Buzzard 1s, which was, on paper, a much tougher encounter than Saturday's. In what was an incredibly hard fought match, with the scoreline out of our favour with 15 minutes to go, we scored twice (scorers were Ben White (2), Tom Woods, Oli Shaw and Angus Jones) to complete a victorious weekend double and become league champions!

Huge congratulations to Nich Golding and the whole of the Mens 2nd team squad for not only becoming league champions but also securing an unbeaten home record and, with a bit of luck, possessing top league goal scorer in Ben White. MBBO Division 2 awaits next season!
